Happened to chance upon this old favourite of mine. This particular version is a Malayalam song but I distinctly remember a telugu original version of this song. (Incidentally, Devaragam got dubbed back to telugu). The song has been recorded extremely well and 'sharply'. This is one of those songs where I like the charanam more than the pallavi. A typical rural beat has been westernized and used rather effectively at the beginning of each charanam. Once again Keeravani excels in the use of the traditional flute and violin in the interludes.
