My all time favorite song of Rahman is "Kannalane" from Bombay. This song would definitely be number 2 on my ARR favorite songs list. If there is a way to convert honey in to music, this is how it would probably sound. This has been my earworm many times but most recently due to watching C/O Kancharapalem movie which had BGM that reminded me of this song. Kudos to both singers although I am likely more partial to Vijay Prakash especially in this version sung at the concert (watch at link below). My favorite portion of the song is
