Mani Sharma explores familiar territory again and scores well. This song follows the same formula that was used in "Yamuna Nagari" in Choodaalani Vundi. This time it is the Pancharatna Krithi "Endaro Mahanubhavaulu" in Sree Raagam and Mani does delightfully well. My complaint with Mani Sharma is that he always leaves room for improvement. Case in point, the end of the pallavi which I think is very lazily done. That being said, I love the fact that he continues to encourage new singers. Hemachandra has a nice voice and must be groomed for bigger songs!
Interestingly, this is the third song that starts with "Gundello" that I liked.

Interestingly enough, I know of Hemachandra because he used to host the 2008-2009 season of Little Champs on Zee Telugu. Very likable fellow and fun to watch. Doesn't do "OA". And I think he himself is a product of a talent search show.
I saw a few videos of the show from youtube and I agree that he a likeable chap. He sang "Vayassunami" from Kantri on the show and was encouraging the kids very well. I think he lost out narrowly in a talent show, which itself created a big news (since he had a fine voice and was a judges' favorite). He turned music director recently for a movie too.
