Song : Maayo Emi Maayo
Movie Name : Nee Kosam(1999)
Singer : Kausalya, Mani Nagraj
Music Director : R P Patnaik
Emitidi gunde gonthulo padindee ?... Sa Pa Ma Ga Ri ....
It is probably true that pressure brings out the best in some people. R P Patnaik, Kausalya at the beginning of their careers, a new director, a new lead pair with good potential, all in all Nee Kosam had the right mix of people needed for a creative output. You can see that burst of enthusiasm in this song. RP's soul is very much in this song, Kausalaya has lent her best as against a lame "Konchem Kaaramga" of Chakram or "Malle Teegaro" of Andhrawala. The breezy feel to this song has to reach out to each and everyone listening to it. A good way to start my music blog too.

Hum tum gum sum
Song : Hum tum gum sum
Movie Name :Humshakal
Singer : Kishore Kumar & Asha Bhonsle
Music Director : R D Burman
Again, I havent had the pleasure of hearing the original version of this song as I have recently updated my linux kernel, and I havent been able to install real player yet on my machine!Anyway here's the link to the remix version. The song is an amazing haunting number by R D Burman. I was really stuck on to this song when I started playing the chords while the lyrics go
" chodo mujhe neend aayee hai..jaao tum.... "
The DJ Doll remix version is really nice too with the
"chuo na chuo na.."
going on in the background.
Heard the original and it rocks! Asha's voice is just awesome, and it makes so much difference to the song.
